Sewing and creating have always been a favorite pastime for Jeanne. While making puppets for her sister’s puppet team, she created a new pattern. Honey Bunch Puppet Babies are full body puppets, the size of an infant. They actually wear baby clothes! She also has a smaller version we call preemies.

In July of 2007, Jeanne took her puppet babies to the local Art in the Park. They turned out to be quite a sensation. Since then, she has taken them to several craft shows. They have also proven effective tools at “Gospel for Asia” presentations, where she has a puppet tell the stories of Indian missionaries. One preschool bought a puppet and named it after the Dalit child they sponsor.

The profit she makes from selling the puppets goes to “Gospel for Asia” to support missionaries there. If you are interested in purchasing a puppet, you can choose from the samples or have one made to your specifications (color, hair, clothing, boy/girl).
